Temple Run 2 is an endless running video game. A sequel to the original game, it was released on January 17, 2013 on the App store for iOS. It was later released on Android on January 24, 2013. It has set a record by reaching the milestone with 50 million downloads in just 2 weeks.
Temple Run 2 features the same controls and plot as its predecessor, however introduces new obstacles, including ziplines, mine tracks, sharper turns, and flames of fire. The game is set in a new location, and sees the main character moving at a faster pace. The game also features new power-ups. The three monkeys that chased the character in the original game have been eliminated, with a singular enlarged monkey now becoming the antagonist of the game.
